As a HR Specialist at the Foundation Stichting Vluchtelingen Werkintegratie, you are responsible for developing and implementing the handbook for connectors/recruiters (in the AZCs), including associated procedures, processes, systems and forms. You play a crucial role in streamlining recruitment activities and setting up a structured HR policy. You work closely with the foundation's board. Your location is our office in The Hague, where hybrid working is possible.

 

Activities

· Create a detailed handbook with guidelines, best practices, and step-by-step instructions.

· Provide a user-friendly setup that is easy to implement by the team.

· Develop standardized procedures and processes for relevant recruitment and selection activities.

· Ensure consistency and efficiency in all recruitment activities.

· Choose and implement HR systems and tools that support recruitment processes.

· Ensure seamless integration of new systems with existing infrastructure.

· Design and implement all necessary forms and documentation for the recruitment process.

· Ensure that all documents comply with legal requirements and internal policies.

· Train connectors/recruiters and other employees in the use of the manual, procedures, processes, systems and forms.

· Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure that the new policy is effectively applied.

· Monitor the effectiveness of the manual and associated procedures and processes.

· Gather user feedback and make continuous improvements.

· Keep accurate records of improvements and adjustments to the manual and processes.

· Collaborate with and regularly report to the board on the progress and effectiveness of recruitment policies.

 

What do we expect from you

· Demonstrated experience in HR, particularly in developing and implementing HR policies and processes.

· Experience with HR systems and tools.

· Flexibility and ability to work in a hybrid work environment

· Affinity with the goals of the Refugee Work Integration Foundation.

· Excellent communication and training skills and ability to motivate and inspire others.

· Empathy, patience, and respect for diverse cultures, backgrounds, regardless of gender and creed.

· Availability for at least 16 hours a week, with flexibility in working hours as an advantage.

· Living in the region of The Hague.

· Proficiency in Dutch.

· Proficiency in English.

· Proficiency in Arabic, Ukrainian or another language, for example, is an advantage.

· Control of Microsoft Office products.
